How is the amount credited?

Once your refund is approved, the money will be credited to your account as per your mode of payment.

• For cash-on-delivery, the refund will be processed through an IMPS transfer
• For credit/debit card payments, the refund will be credited back to the source
• If you want the money in your bank account instead of the original source, it will be credited via IMPS
• If you paid with an EGV, it will be replenished after your return is complete
• With Open Box Delivery, you can get a refund on the spot if you have placed a COD order

How to check your refund status

Now that you have initiated a refund, you can check if you have received it in two easy ways:

Log in to your bank’s mobile app or net banking facility online:

• Select the account number registered for refund
• Click on ‘View Statements’ or ‘Transaction Details’
• Select the date range from the day you initiated the refund to the current date
• Look for the refund from Flipkart in your bank statement

Log in to your Flipkart account:

• Click on ‘My Orders’ on the Flipkart app or ‘Orders’ on the website
• Select the order for which you initiated a refund
• Scroll down and find the refund reference number
• Check with your bank using this number
